Hey all again!

Just dropping in to say, am busy as can be with Seekers manga book work ^_^;;;; Haven't had much time for anything else, not even the commissions I've currently on the backburner and need to get done before Anime Boston in May...

And speaking of Anime Boston, I shall be there again this year in Artists Alley as well as doing a few panels, which are as follows with a tentative schedule:

Character Concept and Design FRIDAY 11:30am WORKSHOP 311 - joint panel w/ Tabikat Learn to develop an interesting and in-depth character from idea to final (great for manga, animation, books, video games, etc... or just for fun)

Inside Manga: The Creating Process SATURDAY 12:30pm WORKSHOP 311 - joint panel w/ Tabikat Bettina Kurkoski, the published and award winning artist of My Cat Loki(TOKYOPOP) discusses the basic step-by-step process, tools, tips and techniques for creating manga and getting into the manga industry via competitions, submissions and webcomics.

Inside Manga: Getting Published SATURDAY 12:30pm WORKSHOP 311 - joint panel w/ Tabikat Bettina Kurkoski, the published and award winning artist of My Cat Loki(TOKYOPOP) discusses tips on getting published in the manga industry via competitions, company submissions and webcomics.

Also! I've been invited to be a GUEST ARTIST at Portcon Maine in June! XD So I shall also be there doing both Inside Manga panels AND in the Artists Alley! XD

Notice something a little different about the site? XD

YUP! Twas REVAMP TIME!!! XD

I've completely revamped the site to a smoother, cleaner design, like a lil early spring cleaning. XD Things have still been pretty busy with work lately...have begun work on the Seekers manga series...am a lil behind on my work for it because of the 2008 holidays, family obligations and...well...getting sick or feeling under the weather far too often than usual...all on top of have a sort of artist's block!;___; So getting work done lately has been like pulling teeth with me >,< NOT GOOD!!! BUT! There's hope! I think I'm finally coming out of that block and work is finally starting to flow again! ^_^V Now just to catch up on my schedule so as to make sure I get everything done on time!!!O.O

Just a friendly...if sad...reminder...MY CAT LOKI VOL. 3 is NOT going to be published! I've received MANY comments/emails and the like concerning it and unfortunately, because of the company changes with Tokyopop back in June 2008, THEY felt it was best to cancel the series...BUT! there is a lil glimmer of hope that I may revise vol. 3's script/story in the future and 'self-publish' a VERY VERY VERY limited run of chapter length issues. Because TP owns the publishing rights (even though I DO own part of the copyright), I can only print and assemble a small amount of these chapter issues to sell at conventions and POSSIBLY thru this site(depending on how many I've left over at the end of each convention season)...so yea, there's still some hope that the ending will see the light of day...just not right now. ^_^;;;

Okay! That's it for the moment...tis getting late and I'm exhausted...trying to make it thru a lovely cold I've developed the other day >,< UGH!

WOW! I SO wanted to get the new site layout up and working before now, but that certainly didn't happen! ^_^;; Oh well! It'll happen in the VERY near future...I hope >.>;;; it's all designed, just need to code it and make sure everything is working properly before I can upload and go live with it ^_^;;

Anyways! Been really busy lately with the holidays JUST behind us. Am starting new TOKYOPOP/Harper Collins work, tis a new 3 book series ...so I'll be busy working for the next year and a half PLUS! LOL XD which is good, cause I needs da monies and da work! XD In between all of that I'll work hard getting some personal doujin done to print and sell at the various convention Artists Alleys I'll be at this year, of which, I'm really cutting back on where I go as I really can't afford the time this year with my book schedules the way they are...and I need to save my money BIG TIME!;__; So so far, I'll definitely be at Anime Boston, one way or another...and if all works out right, then I'll be returning to Nekocon as well! *crosses fingers and toes* O_O;

Starting Tues., January 13th, I'll be teaching manga art classes to kids with Aspergers syndrome at the local ARC of Greater Plymouth. Tis a 6 week class. This'll be the second session, the first being a huge success...at least I think so! XD And hopefully there'll be more in the near future!^_^V

Other than that, not much else is going on...book work...commissions to catch up on...and life in general.

UGH! time to get back to work! ;__; Will HOPEFULLY start updating more frequently...at least I'd really like to ^_^;;...and will try to get the new site layout done during spare time as well! XD
